Dormant Tree Pruning Training
Sat, March 7 at 10-11 am, Benton Park, 3100 S. Jefferson
Come learn how to properly prune trees and get approved to trim City of St. Louis street trees! Certified foresters will train you how to tackle winter tree pruning. Whether you missed our first training or want to come back for more pruning practice, please join us!We will be meeting on the north side of Benton Park at the old horseshoe area just east of the playground. Weekly Credit Fairs will be offered as part of free tax preparation services in select Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites. Walk-ins are welcome. Occurring on Saturdays, 9 am-12 noon. A have a free 20 minute credit coaching session where a trained volunteer pulls your credit report, reviews it with you, and you work together to create a credit building action plan. Facebook Invite
Garfield Commons Open House

Herbalism at Home book signing

Noelle Wagner Art Exhibition

We are hosting an opening reception for our exhibition of artist Noelle Wagner on Saturday 3/14 from 6 to 9 PM. Noelle will be sharing a diverse body of artwork ranging from stitched collage works and assemblages to sculptural masks. Wagner is a dynamic and multifaceted artist who draws on her professional experience with costume design and textiles, plus she runs a non-profit, sustainable, historical farm in St. Louis called; Grown and Gathered Heirloom Farm. "I often refer to my art as a productive meditation," Wagner said. "The pieces come together, mostly by way of shape, color and shadows. I get lost when I'm collaging, often surprised as anyone at the finished product."
