Cherokee Street CID (formerly Cherokee Street Business Association) Public Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm. All business owners, residents, property owners, and anyone with an interest in Cherokee are welcome and encouraged to attend. Facebook Invite

BPW Litter Clean Up + Social Hour
Saturday, May 18 at 9-10 am, Cherokee at Jefferson (by the statue)
Join us for our monthly neighborhood litter pick up and social hour! We will be starting at the corner of Cherokee and Jefferson (by the Indian). Afterwards join us at Teatopia for some amazing smoothies!*Feel free to bring a bucket, gloves and trash picker upper if you like. We have trash bags that have been donated by Operation Brightside. Fox Park #trashtag Challenge

Jump on the viral social media challenge that really does make a difference! The Fox Park Neighborhood Safety Committee, Messiah Community Center and Lohr Distributing Company are hosting a #trashtag Challenge! Grab a team, sign up with your social media handle, go out and clean up the community, post the pics, and come back for the after party of food, fun and games! Ice Cream Social FUN-raiser

Join us for our season finale FUNraiser for scholarship for TAP Teen Apprenticeships! This event will feature current artwork, fashion designs, and Pop-Up Shops by our Teen Apprentices. Come BUY a bowl and get a bottomless Ice Cream Sundae. We will also have donations for drinks and complimentary snacks! This event is a great way to get some really unique bowls for a great cause! Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Benton Park Historic Neighborhood Tour
Sunday, May 26 at 2-5 pm, Benton Park Pavillion
St. Louis History and Architecture is hosting a historic walking tour of the Benton Park neighborhood. The tour will start in Benton Park at the corner of Arsenal Street and Illinois Ave, and will showcase the historic architecture of the neighborhood, dating from 1848 through the 1920s. The neighborhood is filled with the stories of a variety of people from beer barons to Icarian French settlers to Frontiersmen, and showcases a wide variety of architecture from different periods of history. Tickets are $15, and include a 2 hour tour which spans the whole neighborhood. Facebook Invite
