Summer Drop-In Program

Cherokee Station Business Association Meeting
Thursday, August 16 at 5:30-6:30 pm, Nebula, 3407 S. Jefferson
Cherokee Street Business Association Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm. All business owners, residents, property owners, and anyone with an interest in Cherokee are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.
Call It Like a Cop

So you're always told "Call it in!" but don't always feel comfortable or even know what to say? Well, we want to help you call it in like a pro. We bring you the Call It Like a Cop Workshop. Neighborhood Liaison Officer Carl Whittaker and Fox Park Safety Chair Sara Levin will lead an informative and fun workshop to teach you the best way to call in suspicious or illegal activities in the neighborhood. Sidewalk Seats: Community Work Day
Sunday, August 26 at 11 am-2 pm, Perennial, 3762 S. Broadway
Perennial is excited to work with Dutchtown South Community Corporationto implement "Sidewalk Seats" a community art project to create public seating from salvaged furniture! The seats created through this project will be installed along Chippewa Street in late September.We invite you to drop by the shop and lend a hand on Sunday 8/26 between 11am-2pm. We'll be teaching folks basic furniture repair and refinishing skills that you can try out on some of the seating for the project. Come for a little bit or for the whole session to pick up some new skills and contribute to "Sidewalk Seats!" Facebook Invite

Admission to summer concerts is always free. Food and drinks can be purchased at the event, but feel free to bring your own. Proceeds benefit Benton Park Neighborhood Association.
