Cherokee Station Business Association Meeting
Thursday, November 16 at 5:30 pm, Nebula, 3407 S. Jefferson
CSBA meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm and covers events, updates and information regarding Cherokee Street, Cherokee Station Special Business District and Cherokee Street Development League. All business owners, residents, property owners, and anyone with an interest in Cherokee Street are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Tribal Paint & Sip with N'Dea
Thursday, November 16 from 6-9 pm, Yeyo Arts, 2907 S. Jefferson
Come join myself, bring a friend, SO, partner, friend, sista, whomever you'd like to BodyArt and paint on. You guys choose who's the artist and who is the canvas! I will give a brief lesson on African and Indengious peoples symbols and languages and you all get to choose wisely what you will add on the other. Photoshoot with Instant photos on request for an extra $10 fee per 4 photos. Only $10 to get in and ensure each person participating supplies and materials to use. Facebook Invite
Benton Park West Neighborhood Association Meeting and Potluck
Thursday, November 16 from 7-9 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal
The November neighborhood meeting will be our annual potluck! We'll supply chicken, beverages, plates and utensils. You bring a salad, side dish, or dessert. Remember - we won't hold a December neighborhood meeting. We will hold a brief meeting during the dinner and author, Jim Merkel will share about his book, The Colorful Characters of St. Louis. We hope each of you meet neighbors and enjoy good conversation. Let's work to build relationships and a stronger community! Cabrini Academy Trivia Night
Saturday, November 18 from 7-11 pm, St. Frances Cabrini Academy, 3022 Oregon
This super fun trivia night will be held in the Cabrini Gym and hosted by the St. Frances Cabrini's Sponsors Club. Funds raised during Trivia Night allow Cabrini to keep their sport fees lower than any other CYC school. The Sponsor Club serves all Cabrini students as well as students from the Soulard School and surrounding public schools.Admission includes an open bar with a healthy assortment of beer and wine plus snacks and soda. Many tables bring their own snacks or beverages.Happy hour will be from 6-7 PM 10 rounds of trivia started at 7PM. $20/ person and up to 10 per table.There are Fun Raffles and Prizes!!! Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour
Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac
Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.
Five Star Senior Center's Southern Fried Chicken Dinner
Sunday, November 19 from 11 am -5 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal
Carry out or dine in, the meals include 1/2 chicken, 2 sides, dessert and a drink. Adults: $10 and Children up to age 12: $5. Proceeds will benefit the Center. For more information, please call 314-664-1008.
Laughter Club
Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm, Thomas Dunn Learning Center, 3113 Gasconade
