BPW's Fall Alley Clean Up

Teatopia Grand Reopening and Story Time for Kids

To celebrate the new space, we're doing a grand reopening on November 11-12. Starting Saturday, November 11, and continuing every other Saturday through the end of the year, we'll be introducing our Story Time at Teatopia for children from 10:30am-11:15am. Love Fest: A Celebration of Love Bank Park

Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Black Tax Collective's Political Education
Tuesday, November 14 at 7 pm, Yeyo Arts, 2907 S. Jefferson
We are in the condition we are in not because of a lack of fun, a lack of vacations, a lack of jobs or a lack of ego, but it's because of a lack of knowledge (Afrikan centered knowledge). Black Tax Collective's political education classes will bring knowledge to its attendees on a wide range of topics such as critical thinking, history & our story from an Afrikan centered view, war, and entertainment to name a few. Free Screening of SKAM (Norwegian Drama Series)
Wednesday, November 15 at 7 pm, Lemp Neighborhood Arts Center, 3301 Lemp
Through the lives of a group of students at Hartvig Nissen Skole in Oslo, SKAM frankly and honestly investigates xenophobia, gay relationships, mental illness, feminism, anorexia, rape, and self-worth as it dismisses the tired old paradigm promoting a world of acceptance and love in a time of fear and oppression. The entire series of four seasons will be shown (with English subtitles), several episodes each night, every Wednesday night. Cherokee Station Business Association Meeting

CSBA meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm and covers events, updates and information regarding Cherokee Street, Cherokee Station Special Business District and Cherokee Street Development League. All business owners, residents, property owners, and anyone with an interest in Cherokee Street are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Tribal Paint & Sip with N'Dea

Benton Park West Neighborhood Association Meeting and Potluck
Thursday, November 16 from 7-9 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal
The November neighborhood meeting will be our annual potluck! We'll supply chicken, beverages, plates and utensils. You bring a salad, side dish, or dessert. Remember - we won't hold a December neighborhood meeting. We will hold a brief meeting during the dinner and author, Jim Merkel will share about his book, The Colorful Characters of St. Louis. We hope each of you meet neighbors and enjoy good conversation. Let's work to build relationships and a stronger community! Five Star Senior Center's Southern Fried Chicken Dinner
