Below is a list of upcoming activities in or around Benton Park West, a Cherokee Neighborhood.
Operation Blitz Cleanup in Marine Villa
Saturday, June 24-June 30 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Marine Villa (Dumpster at 1910 Chippewa)
Marine Villa is having a blitz cleanup and will be staging a large dumpster at 1910 Chippewa for all trash to be dumped in. We hope to have the dumpster for 1 week, but not sure if we will so, we would like the major thrust to be on the 24th & 25th. We will be providing trash bags that you can pick up at the dumpster site in the AM. You can leave them at the end of your alley for pick up or you can bring them to the large dumpster. Please let us know that you have left them there, so we can take care of them. If you have a large amount of tree limbs, please pile in one area of your alley and a chipper will be coming through the following week to take care of them. Slainte! Benefit for Peter & Paul Community Services
Thursday, June 29 from 11:00 am - Friday, June 30 at 1:00 am, McGurk's Irish Pub, 1200 Russell
"Slainte!" is Irish for "Good Health!" and is held in the summer each year, thanks to the generosity of our friends at John D. McGurk's in Soulard. FREE Mommy & Me Toddler Musics Class

Calling Parents of Toddlers! We will be hosting a FREE demo on our Young Musician 18 month-3 year "Mommy & Me" class. Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour
Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac
Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.
Fair St. Louis - Volunteer for our largest fundraiser!
Sunday, July 2, 2017, Forest Park - Top of Art Hill
One of our biggest fundraisers is Fair Saint Louis, which is July 2-4th in Forest Park. Enjoy a night of music, topped off with a spectacular fireworks display. Laughter Club
Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm, Thomas Dunn Learning Center, 3113 Gasconade

Pool Party and Yappy Hour

“i’ll nest here for now” is a joyously whimsical, immersive celebration of nursing purpose from the casually discarded. We're very excited to host our first-ever art installation in July. Local artist and Lindenwood University art instructor CHRISTINA GREGOR will transform our atrium gallery space with a brand-new, site-specific, multimedia artwork. Grab your camera and someone to shoot (or meet a few at the event) to get photos to expand your portfolio. Connect and learn tips from other photographers that will help improve your craft. Bring your own equipment / props. Black backdrop provided. Not a photograher? You are invited to come to get your photo taken by area photograhers for headshots, family photos, engagment pic, or just for fun! An Evening of Acoustic Punk & Hardcore Covers to Benefit The Spot

"Supporting Positive Opportunities for Teens" The Spot offers free medical and social services to people ages 13-24. This includes anything from getting back in school or starting contraception, to addressing a mental illness or seeking care for HIV.
