Laughter Lunch

Join our Artist in Residence Sonial Slankard as we giggle, hoho, and haha once a month as we practice new techniques from laughter yoga and improv to reduce stress at this hilarious networking lunch. Bike to Work Day

Let's make this Bike to Work Day our region's biggest one yet! Now that spring has sprung, get out your bike and ride to work on Friday, May 19. Plan your route, pack up your gear and no matter what, get out there and ride! Benton Park West Litter Clean Up and Social Hour
Saturday, May 20, from 9:00-10:00 am, Community Garden, Jefferson at Arsenal
Help beautify our neighborhood and meet your neighbors! Each month we will be cleaning up a different area of our neighborhood. These clean up days will be the Saturday's following the BPW neighborhood meeting. Trash bags will be provided from Operation Bright Side. Feel free to bring gloves or anything else as needed. IndiHop
Saturday, May 20 from 1:00-7:00 pm, Various locations along Cherokee
IndiHop is celebrating its 6th year in The Grove and on Cherokee Street. With a purchased ticket, participants receive a tasting glass and the opportunity to sample 50 different locally brewed and crafted beers. Sample beer inside twenty five businesses in each neighborhood. Shuttles transport folks between neighborhoods and local musicians entertain at each stop. Monthly Local Saxophonist Showcase: #5 Featuring Hugh Jones

Local Saxophonist and Educator Hugh Jones has been one of the most in demand saxophonists in the St. Louis area for over 20 years now. Marine Villa Neighborhood Meeting

The general MVNA meeting is being replaced with a special session put on by the Crime and Safety committee. All adults are welcome and you do not need to be a member of the Crime and Safety committee or Facebook group to attend. Please note that crime and safety issues may be discussed that are not appropriate for children.The normally scheduled MVNA general meetings will continue next month. This meeting will have a review of common issues with input from attendees and presentations from select city representatives. Please come to this meeting with what you feel are your top two or three major safety issues/concerns.There will be a form at the meeting so we can aggregate and focus on common and critical issues and start making trackable and noticeable changes within our neighborhood.We look forward to seeing you and tackling issues together!
