Cherokee Rec Plant and Play
Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, Cherokee Rec Plex, 3200 S. Jefferson
Cherokee Games organizers will host a 'Plant and Play' where volunteers will work to remake two flower beds on the north entrance of the center, thanks to Lewis Reed and a grant from Operation Brightside.
Cherokee Rec Haunted House and Mystery Maze
Saturday, October 24 from 6:00-9:00 pm, Cherokee Rec Plex, 3200 S. Jefferson
Bring the kids (6 and up) and make your way through a family-friendly hauted mystery maze! The cost is FREE. Also, the pool will be open from 10am-4pm. Facebook Invite
Pulpit to Porches: Family & Neighborhood Resource Fair
Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, Curby Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2621 Utah
The Resource Fair will offer family resources, job information, educational assistance, legal assistance, housing assistance, utility assistance, and health insurance information. There will also be free hair cuts for boys 14 and under. For more info, contact Rev. Paula Cooper at 314-771-0242.
The Chicken Fried Craft Show
Saturday, October 24 from 12:00-10:00 pm, Byrd & Barrel, 3422 S. Jefferson
Enjoy a fall Saturday afternoon from 12-3pm and 5-10pm on the B&B patio with some gourmet fried chicken and a choice selection of local St. Louis makers; Ruby Francis, Hopelessy Jaded, Lonesome Traveler, Hollywood Indian, and Sheldon Grey will offer a fine array of handmade clothing, accessories, leather goods, and fine art. St. Louis Swap Meet

Trunk or Treat
Sunday, October 25 at 4:00 pm, Salvation Army Parking Lot, Arsenal at Iowa
Benton Park West will hold its annual Trunk or Treat, a safe Halloween trick or treating for kids. Children ages 14 and younger are welcome! Each child must be accompanied by an adult. There will be candy and fun for all! For more information, please visit our Event Page.
Zumba Classes

Curby Church will host Zumba classes on Mondays. The suggested donation for the instructor is $1-5.00 a session. For more info 314-771-0242.
Marine Villa Neighborhood Association Meeting

It's the final MVNA meeting of 2015 and it's gonna be another party! We're meeting on the 2nd floor of building 12 again at The Historic Lemp Brewery this month to celebrate. We'll talk about some of our accomplishments this year, hear from Martin Casas of St. Louis Swap Meet about their plans for the upcoming year, and wrap up elections for the 2016 MVNA Executive Board of Directors. Howl-O-Ween

The Benton Bark West Dog Park will host its first Howl-o-Ween. Every dog will get a treat! There will be a photo booth for a photo op with your dog. Bring your camera! Facebook photo contest! Board of Alderman President Lewis Reed and his team, with support from the CSBA and The Luminary, will host the 3rd Annual "Trick or Treat onCherokee Street" on Halloween night!
