Street soccer is played the world over by anyone and everyone. In St. Louis, street soccer is played by men and women who are homeless or formerly homeless.The St. Louis Roadies Street Soccer Club was formed seven years ago under the auspices of Peter & Paul Community Services, a leading non-profit agency in St. Louis committed to finding solutions to homelessness. Since that time, over 130 players have graced the Roadie roster. Two-thirds of those who have participated in the program have ended their homelessness for good and regained their independence.
