Historic Missour Roadsides Book Release & Signing
Thursday, July 30 from 5:30-8:30 PM, Yaquis, 2728 Cherokee
Historic Missouri Roadsides is a compendium of 6 Missouri road trips on two-lane highways. The tours offer a brief history of each county and town, local places to visit, eat and stay, and great photos from the roadside! Copies of the book will be on sale, price is $35.00 plus tax and author Bill Hart will be there to personally autograph your copy. Facebook Invite
Kickball in the Park
Friday, July 31 at 6:00 pm, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac
Kids and adults of all ages are encourage to play kickball in Gravois Park each Friday night during the summer. This is a fun way to kick off the week in a fun, family-friendly environment. NOTE: If it's raining, it will be called off.
Gravois Park Clean Up
Saturday, August 1 from 9:00-12:00 pm, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac
Volunteers are needed to help weed, mulch, and pick up litter. Donuts and bottled water will be provided. Please bring gloves and your own tools. Facebook Invite
Cherokee Games

Join us for a fun-filled day of play at the Cherokee Recreation Center in Benton Park. This month the games are brought to you by 28 to Life - a non-profit empowering young people to be the solution to crime and other issues our community faces. St. Louis Swap Meet
Sunday, August 2 from 10:00 am-3:00 pm at the Lemp Brewery, Cherokee @ Lemp

Nutritional and Zumba Classes
Monday, August 3 at 5:00 and 6:30 pm, Curby Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2621 Utah
Curby Church will host nutritional and Zumba sessions beginning August 3rd. The nutritional session will begin at 5:00 pm and it's free! The Zumba session will begin at 6:30 pm and cost $5.00 a session. For more info 314-771-0242.
National Night Out
Tuesday, August 4, times and locations vary
National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime”, promotes involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Benton Park Concert Series
Sunday, August 9 from 3:00-6:00 pm, Benton Park, 3100 S. Jefferson
