Cherokee Neighborhoods Happy Hour

Thursday, July 23 from 6:00-8:00 pm, The Iowa Buffet, 2727 Winnebago

July will bring us to Gravois Park's Iowa Buffet. Happy hour specials include Stag cans $1.50, PBR big boys $2, and PBR pitchers $6.50. They also have great burgers! Facebook Invite

Missouri Preservation's Places in Peril Un-Happy Hour

Friday, July 24 from 5:00-8:00 pm, Chatillon-DeMenil House, 3352 DeMenil

It’s time to announce Missouri Preservation’s 2015 Places in Peril. To kick off the program’s press conference, there will be an UnHappy Hour to increase awareness of Missouri's endangered historic resources. Cocktails and hors d'oeurves, tickets $15 for non-members. Facebook Invite

Kickball in the Park

Friday, July 24 at 6:00 pm, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Kids and adults of all ages are encourage to play kickball in Gravois Park each Friday night during the summer. This is a fun way to kick off the week in a fun, family-friendly environment. NOTE: If it's raining, it will be called off.

St. Louis Swap Meet

Sunday, July 26 from 10:00 am-3:00 pm at the Lemp Brewery, Cherokee @ Lemp

Benton Park Concert Series

Sunday, July 26 from 3:00-6:00 pm, Benton Park, 3100 S. Jefferson

All concerts are FREE and take place in the beautiful Benton Park (Corner of Arsenal & Jefferson). Food, drink and Benton Park gear will be available for purchase. Visit bpnastl.org for details.

Marine Villa Neighborhood Association Meeting

Monday, July 27 at 7:00 PM, Irish Corner Pub, 1900 Cherokee

Come to the Irish Corner Pub for updates from the 9th/20th ward alderpersons, SLMPD, and more. There will be two business showcases: Saint Louis Hop Shop and South City Art Supply! If it's a pleasant night, we'll meet out on the patio again. Let your neighbors that aren't online know about our meetings! Come out for happy hour with the Chippewa Broadway Business Association at 6pm. MVNA meeting will begin promptly at 7pm.

Historic Missour Roadsides Book Release & Signing

Thursday, July 30 from 5:30-8:30 PM, Yaquis, 2728 Cherokee

Historic Missouri Roadsides is a compendium of 6 Missouri road trips on two-lane highways. The tours offer a brief history of each county and town, local places to visit, eat and stay, and great photos from the roadside! Copies of the book will be on sale, price is $35.00 plus tax and author Bill Hart will be there to personally autograph your copy. Facebook Invite

School's Out Cafe: Food That's In When School Is Out
